When industrial applications that require Category 5e Ethernet cable are presented, ASI offers five types of high performance cable for your careful consideration. All five Nexans LANmark™ wire types are aligned to AWM Style, rated 600V & 80°C, and include CMX Outdoor rating to the UL444 standard. This group will allow for up to 25.5 watts of power over the cabling per PoE+, Type 2 (802.3at) when required. The standard flex group of cables is ideally designed to provide quality performance for demanding, yet limited motion industrial applications. • Shielded or Unshielded
• PVC jacket or TPE jacket (for weld splatter resistance)
• 4-pairs & 2-pairs 24 AWG stranded twisted conductors
• 4-pairs & 2-pairs 24 AWG SOLID twisted conductors

In some instances, it is critical to guard against low and high frequency noise on the factory floor. Shielded cables will protect from communication errors caused by interference that will jeopardize the validity of the data being transferred within the facility. Outer cable jacket selection will address the need for light duty (PVC jacket) or heavy duty (TPE jacket) applications. Stranded conductors offer improved flexibility to the user.
